Dragonfly Farms has a custom growing facility focusing on small, quality crops of annuals, perennials and container trees. Our plants can be found at local farmers markets and garden centers. Farm pick ups are welcome. Please call ahead. Whether wholesale or retail, Bruce is happy to talk to you about custom growing to help fill your needs.

Dragonfly Farms offers personalized landscape services.  Bruce Johnson, owner, has run a small business since 2000 specializing in installation and fine gardening.  Jobs range from planting one tree to complete tear down and reconstruction of entire landscapes.  In design and installation, he considers year round interest and appropriate spacing for the plants to mature.  While most jobs are for individual homeowners, Bruce also works with a local top quality builder as well as several of Richmond’s great landscape architects and designers.  As a native Virginian, Bruce’s knowledge and love of plants provides both attractive and practical landscape solutions.

We are also happy to offer pasture maintenance and improvement. Caring for horses and livestock ourselves, we understand the health and safety needs for your pets and livestock. We can help with grading and improving your stand of grass. If you need over seeding or want to plow and start again, we can help. Our mid sized equipment can get into places big equipment cannot. Please call so we can talk about some options.
